Stuff from last weekend

Wow. The response from last weekend’s teaching has been pretty wild. (If you missed it, you can view the video here or download the audio here).

Here are a few resources from the weekend that I want to pass on to you.

Matt’s Video – Tons of people were really impacted by Matt Chandler’s video. You can follow along with him on his church’s blog. He has been posting a video each week as he has gone through chemo and radiation. Here’s the video I played at Riv:

The Difficulty – I heard from a lot of people that the music this weekend at the Holt Venue really helped them “feel the things that they think.” The band that played this weekend was The Difficulty and you can get a copy of their music here.

Help – For many of you, this weekend opened up some (good) cans of worms in your life. You are now more ready than ever to start working through some issues in your life. If you want help with that journey, check out the “I Need Help” page on RivChurch’s site.

    I am currently doing the study Believing God by Beth Moore. This mornings reading talked about how we respond when we don’t get what we desperately pray for. I am facing the real possibility of this in the life of one of my loved ones. Seeing this video from Matt was very encouraging.
