Life Goals

Call it what you want (Life Goals, News Year’s Resolutions, The Big List of Things I Want To Do But Won’t), this is the time of year that a lot of us evaluate our lives and set specific goals. Then, if you are like most Americans, you will forget about your list by February.

If that has happened to you, don’t get discouraged–we’ve all been there. Don’t let a few failures stop you from examining your life and setting goals. Last week I spent some time drawing up a preliminary list of goals for 2010. I’m not going to share them with you yet, because I still need to work on them a bit. In fact, I am taking two days later this week to pray, think, plan, read, etc.. Hopefully after that time I’ll have the year mapped out and I’ll share some of it with you.

Last year, I taught on the “Anvil of Laziness” that weighs many of us down. During that teaching, I shared a strategy for developing a life-plan of sorts. Here’s a few minutes from that teaching where I go over that stuff.
