The Man Class

One of the coolest classes we have at Riv is “The Man Class” taught by Steve Sommerlot and it’s starting up again, starting on January 11. Last fall the class filled up fast – so you may want to reserve your seat soon if you want to attend.
Here’s Steve’s summary for the class:
Guys, you’ve been lied to – long and often. In our culture today, church is for wimps and living for Jesus is effeminate. What happened to the men we read about in Scripture who fought lions by hand, defended their homeland, committed their lives to the power of the gospel, and turned cities upside down for Christ? How do we define biblical masculinity? What does it take to be a biblical husband and father? This class will help to answer these questions and give you theologically informed practices to live out your calling as a man.
The 3 sessions we’ll cover:
Defining Biblical Masculinity
The Call to be a Husband
The Call to be a Father
Guys - if there is one class you take at Riv this year, make this the one.
