Palin and Clinton

I was all excited about SNL starting up again this past weekend because I as hoping they would go all crazy with politics. I had read online that they were going to.
Nope.
The whole episode kinda sucked. Ironically, the best sketch was (you guessed it) political. Congrats to MadTV for doing a better Season Premier yet again.
Here’s the one good sketch on SNL. I love Tina Fey as Sarah Palin.

I actually thought SNL was pretty good last weekend, especially considering Michael Phelps was the host. They did not give him many lines, and the few he had he just read off the cue cards. It can’t be easy making a sketch comedy when the guy you have to feature in all the skits is not funny. So, it should be better with better hosts. The Forte motivational speaker skit was the exact same skit they did with Peyton Manning when he hosted. You’d think they could at least be a little more original.
I have to be honest, I think the fact that you like MadTV raises some serious questions about your sense of humor.
