iPhone Blues
Jul 15, 2008 Uncategorized

This past weekend I had a funeral and a wedding, so I wasn’t able to make it out to get a new iPhone. At first I was bummed, then I was overjoyed because of all the tech problems Apple had.
But now, trying to find anywhere that has the phone in stock is starting to feel like trying to buy a Wii.
I could order one at an AT&T store, but it would take “3-10 days” and if one becomes available at an Apple store and mine has already shipped from AT&T I’m screwed.
I am traveling next week and was really hoping to have it by then because of the GPS function. Oh well…it may be old school maps for me.
What to do, what to do…

How about, use your same old iPhone, buy a TomTom GPS that will not only work better but be cheaper than upgrading your Jesus Phone, and then give the remainder of the money to me for giving you such great advice.

I waited for six hours in line and it was worth every minute of it and fellowshipping with my people was glorious.
I am sorry you didn’t get yours
And I made a sweet trade of my iPod Touch for a maxed out G4 iMac, so I am now a 3-Mac household.

You can always check Apple’s iPhone availability:

Yup, someone, that’s why I linked to it in my post.
Of course, someone at the Apple store told me to ignore the site because it has been consistently wrong.
