This past weekend, Will and Monaca got married.
While I would love to show you pictures of them, I have a more important picture to share. (Thanks to Susan for the pic).
This picture is so important because it shows off my amazing tie and the man who bought it for me. With me in the picture is Dan, who travels several times a year to Korea. Each time, he brings me back a cheesy Korean present. Last year, it was this “Pastor’s Tie,” complete with stain glass windows, a cross, a dove, the words “Hallelujah,” and some raised hands for good measure.
I have never found the right occasion to wear it.
Until Will’s wedding.
Will made me wear a different tie for the ceremony.
I changed back into this one for the reception. That’s how much I love Jesus.
Everyone over 55 complimented my tie.
