Welcome to the redesigned NoelHeikkinen.com
I have had many complaints lately about the slow load time on my site. So, to alleviate the problem I upgraded to the new WordPress, installed a new theme (which I ripped off from Bob), and cleaned up the graphics.
I also set it up so the 5 most recent posts show in their entirety on the front page, with the rest easily accessible from the bottom.
Let me know what you think.
And to all of you who whined about the slow site: “you’re welcome.”

Thought #1: Where’s the Daily Jeezit? I know your podcasting is being largely subsumed under WTR, but it would be nice to have the old archives up somewhere (maybe linked under papers?)
Thought #2: the LJ link is for this site only. It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to put the LJ feed Elizabeth made for WTR up somewhere.

Good thoughts, Lisa. I am trying to figure out what to do with the podcast right now. I’ll let you know soon, and yes it will involve an archive of the old stuff.

Well about time! I have been waiting and waiting. Its not like you have anything else going on. Oh, and I was kind of hoping for a different color scheme. Do you allow smoking at your new website??
Also, you need a photo of you on the site. Nothing to wild, clothes on with a hat would be great.

There is one at the bottom of the front page. Or, you could click on “archive” at the top. I’m still trying to figure out how to tweak the bottom better.
