Thanks for posting this, I had not seen it before.
9/11 is double sucky for me as my Mom passed away last year after a long illness on that day. Two memories that are embeded forever are the image of the second plane hittng the World Trade Center and of running into my Mom’s house and seeing 2 exhausted EMT guys doing CPR on my Mom. One of the hardest things I ever did was to tell them to stop.
With the airwaves awash in garbage, the Jon Stewart piece is a rare moment of true reality tv.

Thanks for posting this and for your message this weekend. God’s been hitting me hard with the injustices in this world and your teaching was challenging and convicting, but I appreciate that you didn’t hold back.
Oh and I’ve recently started reading your blog and love it, so expect more comments.

I remember watching this way back when in ‘01. I cried with him when he invoked MLK.
