Noel’s Church Locator

Because there are so many college students and other transients in our church, we experience constant turnover. People graduate, get jobs, and move all the time. One of the most common questions I get is

“Do you know of a church in [INSERT CITY NAME] here?”

Most of the time, I don’t. Some of the time I do. This page is my best attempt at helping Riv people find a church when they move out of the Lansing area. Please note a couple things:

1) I am not “vouching for” every church on this list. Every one of them has a different flavor, leadership model, and differing doctrine on open-handed issues. I have done my best to do a little bit of research on the churches that land on my locator, but often I am going on someone’s recommendation.
2) Whenever I am personally connected to a church or pastor, I make a note of this on the map. If there is no such note, odds are I haven’t personally met the pastor or attended the church. This may or may not be up to date as I meet a lot of people and only update this map when I have time to do so.

Oh, and if you need to access this in the future, you can find a link to it on the sidebar to the right.

If you are unable to find a church on my locator, here are three places you can look:

1) Acts 29 – These are churches affiliated with Acts 29, a church planting network we work with.
2) Vision 360 – These are churches affiliated with Vision 360, another church planting network I have lots of respect for.
3) You can peruse the comments on this post for other churches recommended by people who visit this blog. If you have any churches you would like to add, please comment on this post with the contact info of any churches that you feel people may want to check out. The info I need is:

Church Name
Website
City and State
Denomination and/or Know Affiliations
Style
Any Additional Comments

I can’t promise I will add every church I hear about or that I will do so fast, but life is full of disappointments, isn’t it?
