Pray for me this morning. I am off to Spring Arbor University to teach on homosexuality at their chapel service. It will be a thousand students or so from mostly Christian backgrounds. Not sure how I will be received. I am doing this message because I asked a bunch of Spring Arbor types which message I should do, and this one came up several times.
We’ll see how it goes. I’ll let you know.

I’d heard that. A couple of my old Youth Group kids told me they’d be there. I’ll let you know what I hear.

Do you know if anyone has it recorded? I’d like to hear it.

was it fairly similar to your sermon on homosexuality at Riverview a few years ago? that was my first time at Riverview, and it was the first step in many of shattering the “conservative christian” worldview I was raised with. thank you Noel for speaking the truth on tough and controversial issues.

Yup. Pretty much the same message with a couple edits for time / audience / content, etc.

Was that part of The Hate People series?

Yup.

I didn’t start attending Riverview until the part of The Hate People series where you talked about athiests and gave all those stats comparing them and Christians. Which I’m still forever grateful God inspired you to do that. :-) If not I know I’d still be an athiest. It’s crazy how God works.
Can I get your CD you think on the homosexuality sermon?

They have the CD at the RivWarehouse. However, I am going to try to get a copy from Spring Arbor to post.
