Back in the summer of 1990, I was in Uganda and I only brought three tapes with me to listen to. Tears for Fears “Songs from the Big Chair,” a mix tape I had made, and “The Secret of Time” by Charlie Peacock. To this day, I still love “The Secret of Time.” I loaded it into my iTunes a few weeks ago and I am suprised at how many of these songs I still know. I think this is one of the best lyrical albums ever. One of these songs he wrote for his wife after a fight. It is called “Almost Threw it All Away.”
