Well, I have to say I am impressed. We have a thinking group of people around Riverview.
At least 20 (I have lost count ) people have pointed out a big inconsistency in my message Saturday Night (if you came on Sunday, I had it fixed by then). Basically, on the heals of a comment about how we should not make sweeping statements vilifying those outside of the church, I did that very thing! I made a comment about Stalin being a good communist because he did “what communists do” when he killed 20 million of his own people. Oops. Rest assured, I will clear this up next Saturday. It just goes to show you how easy it is to make those type of statements, even in the same breath where we say we shouldn’t. Thanks to everyone who caught me on this!
